How you choose to start or set up your day can have a big impact on you mindset, mood and choices for the rest of the day.

Over the past 6 weeks I've been committing to including these 3 things ๐๐๐๐๐ morning.
Straight out of bed onto my floor/mat to move, stretch and wiggle out those areas that have been resting while I sleep. It may be a quick five minutes if I have early morning sessions, mobilising for a morning run or a longer yoga practise, but moving is always the first thing.

I imagine this will be tougher in winter! There's meant to be many benefits to cold water therapy for the body and it's immune system which I'll let you read up on. Plus it wakes you the hell up! Usually about 3-5mins under the cold tap is where I'm at.

At least 5mins of being still, present and tuning into my body. I don't follow any apps but just focusing on my breath, incorporating some alternate nostril breathing and waking up my senses before I start my day.
All of this can last from a minimum of 15mins or longer, depending on how relaxed my morning is.
I'm not saying you should do all, or any these! But take a moment to notice how your morning routine (if you have one) is affecting how you go about your day.
